Drawing Breath at Villa Pia (Drawing and Meditation Workshop May 2020)
(Dynamic life drawing at Villa Pia)
Tania Kovats and Jane Sassienie will be running their week-long program combining the two life-enhancing practices of Drawing and Meditation to generate focus, well being, and creativity. Folk are invited to come and explore drawing and breathing in the company of like-minded others, in a non-judgemental atmosphere. The aim of this restorative and stimulating week is to build creative practices for life, making precious time for individuals to develop personal strategies to explore how better to navigate some of life’s challenges.

Testimonial from Janine who was part of the previous year’s retreat:
“Each day at Villa Pia Started with a new meditation that was carefully curated to link with the drawing practice that followed to help head, heart, hand and soul come together.”

About the Workshop Leaders:
Tania Kovats is an international renowned contemporary artist who is Professor of Drawing at Bath Spa University. Drawing has always been part of her creative process and she will be teaching from a belief that drawing as a practice can provide tools of respite and creativity rather than delivering a formal, skills based curriculum. Jane Sassienie is a co-owner of the global consultancy Bridge Partnership and has worked for over 25 years successfully helping organisations change, developing leaders in many sectors all over the world. Jane guides others to grow practices that support their own evolution. Both are lifelong meditators and their paths have aligned in Drawing Breath. Read more: www.drawingbreath.me/about-us
