Reconnecting and Relaxation: Villa Pia Family Holiday

cooks having fun

Spring will soon be upon us; thinking to the year ahead and where we might travel, who we might visit, is a great tonic for the winter blues, particularly so this year.

Villa Pia had over 45 guests each week throughout the summer. Everyone was very comfortable with the few changes that we have made to ensure their safety on holiday, and as a result, we have remained Covid-free.

In case you are not sure what to expect, we can assure you that your Villa Pia holiday is as Covid secure as possible. Our unique selling point has always been that your family spends most of the time out of doors, enjoying the pools, gardens, paths, woods, playgrounds, tennis courts, swings, trampoline, cycling and courtyard. That remains completely unchanged; we just have a few modifications.

Family Reunion Holidays

If you are looking forward to reuniting with parents and grandparents in the coming months, do keep Villa Pia in mind as a destination for multi-generation gatherings.

Extended families have found our Villa the perfect setting where little ones are free to play, parents are not bogged down with preparing food, and grandparents can enjoy family time whilst making the most of near-by sightseeing or retreating to rest when they choose. The evenings are child-free for family dinners, so everyone gains enjoyable, quality time with each other.

At the moment, we have good availability in June and early September. Do get in touch for other dates as we have places available other weeks.

Retreats

We are in the midst of finalising our retreats scheduled for the coming months, please get in touch with us about joining us in April and May for drawing and mindfulness; guitar breaks; wildflowers and garden design; singing courses; painting holidays; and The Idler’s philosophy, art, literature, and food retreats. Click here to see last year’s line-up and to check for updates.

These are fantastic opportunities to learn something new, further your own practice, or relax and explore while accompanying someone else who is taking part.

Getting to and From Villa Pia

The Italians have robustly responded to the Covid pandemic to ensure that families are confident when travelling to, from and within the country.

As you can imagine, the number of tourists in Italy has greatly reduced. For anyone wishing to come and visit, the crowds are minimal – museums, restaurants and attractions are not crowded – the one positive aspect to this terrible pandemic.

Please get in touch with us with any questions villapia@villapia.com, and click here to download our booking form and we can book your holiday.

Your holiday is secured with a non-refundable deposit. If for any reason you are unable to travel due to illness or disruption, your deposit is fully transferable. This has been completely agreeable to all Villa Pia guests over last year who were very happy to rebook their holidays for dates that worked for their families. None of our guests have been let down by this policy to date, so you can proceed with 100% confidence.

Don’t forget to keep up with us @Villa_Pia on Instagram and on our Facebook page. Wishing you all a safe and restful Christmas and New Year and looking forward to welcoming you back at the villa soon x
