Easter at Villa Pia + Carluccio’s Gift Offer

Villa Pia hosts the Idler Retreat in autumn

Easter greetings from Villa Pia! We are recovering from surprise snowstorms in March (!) and things are warming up for the new season. We’re especially looking forward to the Wildflowers and Garden Design retreat in May, hosted by gardening expert Rosie Yeomans (BBC Radio 4) and crafting specialist Ros Badger (The Idler Academy, pictured below).

If you would like to join us for a week of crafting, wildflower tours, design classes and relaxation at the villa, do book here as spaces are limited.

The villa is filling up again with families new and familiar, and our cooks are super busy whipping up delicious treats for Easter at Villa Pia.

Behind the scenes, our design team is also cooking up something fabulous. Look out for a revamped Villa Pia website coming soon — we can’t wait to show you our new look!

Over Easter at Villa Pia, we’re delighted to welcome London Baby and Kids blogger Laura and her family for the first time. We’ve hosted a few family travel bloggers who have written some amazing reviews of Villa Pia, so we look forward to hearing Laura’s feedback.

We’re still basking in the glow of being recognised by The Guardian newspaper in February as one of the Top 20 Family Summer Holidays in Europe. They highlighted our food as a standout feature. I’m sure anybody who has tasted our delicious breakfasts, buffet lunches and 4-course suppers would heartily agree!

Umbria is a wonderful place to visit over Easter with all the fabulous Holy Week processions taking place around the region, from Gubbio to Arezzo. Truly spectacular.

I love villa holidays and am desperate to take my niece away. So we’d go somewhere hot, explore the culture and have loads of fun splashing in the pool.

We love to go exploring the local towns and regions. We try to see as much of where we are staying as possible, whilst feeling like we are relaxing. Villa Pia looks so family friendly, I’d love to explore the local area.
